113 pound junior Nick Gomes won all three of his matches at the quad meet, including this match as he held down Cumberland’s Brady Gillis to win a 7-4 decision. Gomes also won by default against East Providence and won a 7-5 decision over Hope’s Jonatan Jimenez.

Mike Rego has worked at East Bay Newspapers since 2001, helping the company launch The Westport Shorelines.
