Barrington Police and EMTs responded to the intersection of South Lake Drive and the bike path at about 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13 for an accident — police said a vehicle struck a bicyclist.
The bicyclist was a 70-year-old Warwick resident; the vehicle was driven by an Alfred Drown Road resident.
Police said the bicyclist suffered minor injuries, and according to the police dispatch log, the man was transported to a hospital.
Police did not issue any summonses to the motorist.
