A woman stopped into the Barrington Police Station on Sunday, Sept. 27 at about 9:15 a.m. to report a possible larceny.
The woman told police that she had been shopping at the Barrington Shaw's Supermarket and when she reached the checkout, she mistakenly left her cell phone on the counter. When the woman got back to her car, she realized she did not have her phone and went inside to retrieve it, but store employees could not find it.
The woman filed the report with the police, who later went to Shaw's to check the store's video surveillance footage.
Police have a suspect in the larceny, and are looking for the public's assistance in identifying the individual.
