Barrington Police are investigating a burglary at a County Road restaurant.
Police said it appears that someone entered the Dunkin Donuts restaurant through a rear door at about 9 p.m. on Monday night, Feb. 17, and took approximately $300 from the registers. An employee called police on Tuesday morning to report the incident.
Police said they checked the building and could find no evidence of forced entry. Police also said it was unclear if the rear door had been left propped open or if it had been left unlocked. Nothing else was reported missing from the coffee and doughnut shop.
