Mary E. Trotter, 88, of Barrington

Mary E. Trotter, 88, of Whipple Avenue, Barrington, died peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. 

Born in Braintree, Mass., a daughter of the late John and Mary (O’Keefe) Comeau, she lived in Barrington for 20 years.

Mrs. Trotter was a tennis teacher at the Mid Cape Racket Club for 20 years. A sports enthusiast, she enjoyed playing tennis and golfing. She also had a passion for singing and music.

She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia B. Silvia and her husband David of Barrington and Cheryl A. Maini of Cape Cod, Mass.; two sons, Steven T. Trotter of Destin, Fla. and Daniel K. Trotter of Georgia; a sister, Jeanne Ekasala of Sandwich, Mass.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was the sister of the late John Comeau.

Her funeral was held on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Ave., Riverside, with a private Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke’s Church, Washington Road, Barrington.
