Your front-page story of the “unexpected” fence blocking the exit from the bakery at 230 County Road is not the first such impediment to exiting this facility. I recall that in years past there was a chain and traffic cones blocking this exit in lieu of the new fence during every winter when the ice cream shop closed for the season. Accordingly, the parking lot remained empty during this interval.

It should be obvious that the front entrance is too narrow for safe two-way traffic.

It is too bad nobody (realtors, previous owners, neighboring business, zoning officials, fire department) pointed this out to the new owners.

Please keep us posted as to how this unfortunate situation is resolved.
