Letter: Barrington needs to do better than RIDOT does
To the editor:
Middle Highway between Nayatt Road and Maple Avenue has been closed for a month. Thanks to the Barrington Times for finally covering the story. But it's worth pointing out that during that month, public communication--in the form of signage (especially at places where drivers would be warned soon enough to choose a different route), online announcements, etc.--has been nonexistent.
The Town needs to do better than RIDOT does when it comes to letting the public know just what is happening on public roads.
