Barrington native and University of Alabama standout Bobby Colantonio won the men's U23 hammer throw event at the 2019 NACAC Championships in Queretaro, Mexico on July 6, with a top throw of 66.78 meters (219 feet, 1 inch).
Fellow American Kieran McKeag finished second in the event with a throw of 66.73 meters and Canadian Andrea Troschke was third at 60.61 meters.
Bobby was a state and national champion while competing for Barrington High School.
