Donald G. Munroe, 83, of Barrington

Donald G. Munroe, 83, of Barrington, died Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 at home, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Beverly (Leasor) Munroe. They have been married for over 65 years.

Donald was born in Providence, the son of the late Robert B. and Florence (Belmont) Munroe.

Mr. Munroe was a truck driver for the Teamsters Local 251, for over 40 years, before retiring.

He was a Barrington resident all of his life.

Donald enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children Stephen Munroe of Cranston, David Munroe of Smithfield, Deborah Rainville of Riverside and Karen Munroe of Riverside.

He was the brother of James Munroe of Riverside, Sandra Lombardi of Warwick and Dottie Fanara of Riverside.

Donald was also the brother-in-law of Muriel Pennachio of Florida.

He was the grandfather of 8 and the great-grandfather of 4 and he was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Munroe was the brother of the late Robert Munroe, William Munroe and Jean Webbe.
