Bristol/Warren All-Stars clobber Barrington 9-3

The Bristol/Warren All-Star team bashed 9 hits in clobbering Barrington 9-3 at Sherwood Field on Friday night. The two teams play again in a deciding game at Vets Memorial Park tonight (Sunday) at  5:45 p.m. The loss was the first in the tournament for Barrington. 

Cleanup hitter Jackson Case doubled home three runs for Bristol/Warren and lead off hitter Jackson Adams smacked 3 hits and scored 2 runs. Caden McLaughlin singled home 2 runs and scored a run. Louie Botelho singled twice, drove in a run and scored a run. 

Case, the Bristol/Warren ace, struck out 6 and yeilded 6 hits, 2 walks and 3 runs. 

Mahir Salahuddin struck out 11 for Barrington and allowed 7 hits, 3 walks and 8 runs.  Will DiSalvo came on in relief after Salahuddin reached his pitch limit in the sixth inning. 

Barrington mustererd just six hits, the biggest a monster shot by Salahuddin that bounced into the centerfield fence. Xavier Maddox put a charge into a blast to left field, but left fielder Jayden Larisa leaped up to make the catch with men on base.
