The Barrington High School girls tennis team defeated Smithfield 6-1 on Tuesday, Oct. 1, and remained undefeated this season.
The 8-0 Eagles picked up four points from their singles players. Caroline Maher, Kate Robertson, Beth Wang and Marie Chanfrau each won their matches in straight sets. Maher and Wang did not drop a single game en route to their victories.
Barrington's number two doubles team of Lauren Jay and Sonya Pareek, and number three doubles team of Julia Stanchina and Meghan McDermott won their matches in straight sets.
Barrington is scheduled to play at Toll Gate on Thursday.
