The Barrington High School boys and girls cross country teams qualified to compete at the regionals after strong showings at states last weekend.
The BHS boys team finished fourth overall with 108 points (just five out of second place), and the girls finished sixth with 207 points.
Myles Napolitano led the way for the Barrington boys team. Napolitano finished sixth overall with a time of 16:02.23. Other finishers included Connor Curran in 14th place, Colby Napolitano (Myles’s brother) in 27th, Daniel Chun in 30th, Michael Chun (Daniel’s brother) in 36th, Fritz Muehlbauer in 38th, and Shea Parish in 55th.
Evelyn Lefort was the top runner for the Barrington High School girls cross country team, crossing the line in 20th place overall with a time of 19:30.99. Sara Chang finished in 39th place and second for Barrington, while Scarlett Wasinowicz finished 48th, Mia He was 54th, Indie Lamb was 62nd, Maeve Kelly finished 64th, and Estelle Mentzer finished 101st.
