A Barrington resident who was reported missing weeks ago has allegedly been tracked down in South Korea.

The local man's family had contacted police after the 28-year-old went missing. Barrington police eventually filed an application with Interpol, and officials later discovered the man was in South Korea. The local family said the man used to teach English in South Korea.

Barrington police said the local family wants the man to come home.
