Kendall Fisher played a key role in the Eagles’ success. The senior pitched shutout softball through four and a half innings, allowing just two hits against the Patriots. She also helped her own effort with a strong day at the plate — Fisher had two hits, including a triple, and drove in three runs.
Her battery-mate, catcher Maya Etheridge, went 3-for-3 at the plate and drove in three runs.
Alyssa Conaty, Ace McCoy and Grace Fontaine each had multiple-hit performances for the Eagles.
