Newport Live presents The Dead Tongues this Friday, Sept. 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the Great Friends Meeting House in Newport.
Folk rock singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Gustafson has emerged as one of modern folk’s more distinct voices. Over the past four years, he has recorded four albums under the name The Dead Tongues. The North Carolina native’s creative energy is free-flowing, creating deep and explorative songs.
Tickets are $35 and available on Eventbrite.
Doors open at 6:30 pm. Seating is general admission. Sponsor wine and beer are available for purchase. Performance begins at 7:30 pm. Opening will be Newport Live crowd favorite, Mary-Elaine Jenkins from Brooklyn.
