The Ocean State could (and maybe should) be called “The Boat State.” With water surrounding Rhode Island at every turn, everyone knows there are endless opportunities for boating enthusiasts — but nothing is more exciting than the Newport International Boat Show, right?

There’s so much to see and do at the show that many visitors — even locals — book hotels to make the most of the experience. Beyond the exhibits, attendees can enjoy educational seminars, in-water boating courses, and exclusive VIP experiences. Set against Newport’s breathtaking coastal scenery, rich history, boutique shopping, and world-class dining, this end of summer event offers the perfect chance to combine a love of boating with a love for Rhode Island — right on the ocean — a picturesque setting for the Ocean State

The main spectacle, of course, is the boats. Prepare to see a stunning collection of sailboats and powerboats, including U.S. debuts of the latest models along the docks in Newport. On land, visitors can explore hundreds of marine products, services, and accessories designed to enhance every aspect of the boating lifestyle — a true boat lovers experience.
