Fire causes $100,000 damage at State Road mall

A fire caused $100,000 damage at Coaksett Commons at 875 State Road on Friday evening, May 9. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. There were no injuries. Full Story

Strip zone passes on second night of Town Meeting

Town Meeting voters mustered the two-thirds majority needed to create an adult entertainment zone on Route 6, after first removing six lots considered prime spots for future commercial development. The article passed with 108 votes "for" and 53 "against." The lots that were removed from the zone are near the intersection with Sanford Road. Full Story
