Westport 5th graders, with staffers from Lees Market, show off their new T-shirts at recent dune grass planting project. Every spring, Shelli Costa, the Westport River Watershed Alliance’s education director, brings the 5th graders down for a day on the beach and into the dunes to replant grass that will continue to stabilize the dunes at the Cherry & Webb conservation area. Lees Market assists during the day and has the shirts made for the students.
