Letter: Ryden well qualified to serve on Westport’s Board of Health

Posted

To the editor:

This letter is in support of Ms. Tanja Ryden for the Westport Board of Health. Tanja has been a volunteer in Westport for many years. She has used her 25-plus years of professional training and work experience in public health and human and natural resources to contribute to the betterment of Westport.

It is now her desire to become part of the official town efforts to improve the community’s environmental, sanitary, housing and health conditions. She believes the Board of Health can play a leadership role to meet challenges in the future. She stands ready to commit herself to work with the entire Westport community to achieve these mutual goals.

We believe she is well qualified and will accomplish what she sets out to do, to make Westport the healthy and welcoming town we all want.

Please vote for Tanja on April 9.
