Warren police logs: Two charged with DUI

Monday, March 4
Police were asked to check on the well-being of a distraught man on Warren Avenue.
A Child Street woman complained that kids were throwing snowballs at her windows.
Police looked for but could not locate an intoxicated man walking on Child Street, according to a caller.
Police advised those in the house to quiet down after being called to Patience Lane for an argument complaint.
Tuesday, March 5
Michele A. Dunlop, 51, of 106 Cutler St., Apt. 3, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, first offense, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and cited for driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license, after police pulled her over on Franklin Street at 5:44 a.m.
A caller reported a truck driving recklessly on Child Street. Police could not locate the vehicle.
A Metacom Avenue man complained that his neighbor plows snow onto his property. Police spoke to the neighbor.
A caller told police that his son was behind the wheel of a car possibly headed into Bristol and might be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The manager of a Main Street business reported receiving a rubber check.
A Warren Avenue woman told police an unknown man was standing near her property when she got home earlier that evening.
Wednesday, March 6
A caller complained about a man panhandling on Main Street.
A Dyer Street man called police after spotting a stranger walking through his yard.
A Metacom Avenue man complained that a neighbor was throwing snow into his yard.
Police spoke to the driver of a car who was earlier reported tailgating another vehicle on Kinnicutt Avenue.
A passerby told an officer that a Water Street man needed police assistance after locking himself out of his home. Officers were able to open the door for him.
A caller reported a possible driver crossing the center line on Metacom Avenue.
Thursday, March 7
A Laurel Lane called to police that her father, who was intoxicated, was yelling.
A Laurel Lane woman called to report that a man assaulted their daughter in her home.
A Market Street resident reported a stolen cell phone.
Copper pipes were reported stolen from a Wood Street location.
A for-hire driver called police to report that a fare opened up a beer in her car.
Friday, March 8
Matthew Paul Hildred, 18, of Bellingham, Ma., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense, BAC .15 or higher, after he reportedly struck a fire hydrant on Metacom Avenue at 1:30 a.m.
A Franklin Street man reported being harassed by a neighbor.
A Barden Lane resident complained about a door to door solicitor.
A caller reported an erratic driver and road rage on Market Street.
Two people were arrested when police were called to Metacom Avenue at 10:56 p.m. to disperse an unwanted man. Donald L. Cunningham, 41, of 390 Metacom Ave., was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of a weapon. Christine A. Freitas, 39, was arrested on an outstanding Sixth Division District Court bench warrant.
Saturday, March 9
Multiple callers told police that the operator of a car at Main and Washington streets failed to yield to pedestrian in the crosswalk and then proceeded to yell at her. Police pulled the driver over and had a talk.
A lost/found wallet was returned to its owner.
Jamie E. Browne, 35, of Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, after police pulled him over on Main Street at 11:42 p.m.
Sunday, March 10
A caller reported a large disturbance on Wood Street.
An anonymous caller reported a man and woman arguing on Vernon Street.
Jay P. Kane, 27, of 366 Main St., Apt. 103, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant from Sixth Division District Court in Providence.
