Monday, July 30

A caller from Child Street reported getting into a fight with his ex.

Police were called and asked to disperse a man not wanted at a Market Street address.

Police got a call about an intoxicated driver at Main and Liberty streets. A search of the area turned up nothing.

Police got a call about a man asking for money at a Market Street coffee shop drive through.

A Market Street man called police and told them that a man to whom he owes money was chasing him in a car.

Tuesday, July 31

A man brought in a cell phone he’d found earlier. Police contacted the owner.

A Market Street woman complained that someone keyed her car.

A caller complained about a Market Street man grilling food on his porch. It’s been hot, but that hot?

Wednesday, Aug. 1

A Main Street woman called police just after midnight to complain about noisy people talking across the street.

A trailer and some scrap metal was reported missing from behind a Main Street auto body garage.

A coyote was spotted at Burr’s Hill just after 8 a.m. A few hours later, another (or possibly the same one) was spotted on Locust Terrace. Then, a few hours later another caller from Locust Terrace told police he suspects a coyote is living under his porch.

Sharon J. Eckersley, 60, of Fall River, was charged with possession of marijuana, driving without a seatbelt, driving without an inspection and driving with a suspended registration, after police pulled her over on Child Street at 12:29 p.m.

An Army drive woman spotted a coyote near Almy Avenue.

Police got a call about a person who locked his or her dog in the car while running an errand. Police checked it out: The car was running and AC was on. The officer said the dog was OK.

A Bridge Street woman reported a coyote under her porch.

Police got several calls about a fight between a man and woman near Miller and Main streets.

A Vernon Street woman told police her car was vandalized.

Thursday, Aug. 2

A caller said he saw three people rummaging through a car on Company Street. The call came in just after 2 a.m.

Fire crews extinguished a small brush fire at the Warren Town Beach that appeared to have been started by a carelessly tossed cigarette.

A Sisson Street complained about neighbors’ loud music.

Friday, Aug. 3

A woman who’d gotten into a fight with her boyfriend reported it to police.

A caller reported a disturbance at his home on Park Street. It turned out to be no problem; turns out his daughter was yelling at the family pet.

A Company Street resident complained about multiple kids loitering at the end of the street. Police checked it out; they were playing.

Saturday, Aug. 4

A man came out from a shopping trip at Family Dollar and found a small dog in his car. He called police.

A report of an injured coyote came in from Ann Court. A similar call came in soon after from Bradford Street.

Monica E. Izbicki, 49, of Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and refusal to submit to a chemical test, after police pulled her over on Metacom Avenue at 9:24 p.m.

Sunday, Aug. 5

A caller complained about people quahogging at the Warren Town Beach.

A caller from Sisson Street complained that a tenant in the building ran over his son’s bike. The boy was OK; he’d just left it in a dark, unattended area.

A loud music call came in from Sisson Street.

Monday, Aug. 6

A caller complained just before 3 a.m. about the sound of heavy machinery operating at the Tourister mill. Police advised the subject of the town’s construction ordinance restrictions.
