Manny “Butch” Cunard, 69, a resident of Attleboro, MA and former resident of Warren, RI, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He is survived by Donna, his wife of 48 years, and two daughters, Sarah Chaney of Buenos Aires, Argentina and Elisabeth Mathews of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and three grandchildren, Brianna, Milan and Remington. He is also survived by his sister, Evie Lavey and Bunny Laureanno, both of Bristol, RI.

Manny worked for many years in higher education as a student activities director and later as Executive Director of a campus-related professional association. He was also involved with Habitat for Humanity, first as a volunteer, then as board member and then, in his last affiliation, as Executive Director of the Old Colony Habitat for Humanity chapter. He also served as president of the Mansfield Mass. Rotary Club. He was a car enthusiast, with his final British car project being completed with the generous help and support of fellow car enthusiasts from all over New England.
