Jenna Cimbron and Grace Moclair lead the Mt. Hope girls lacrosse team over South Kingstown 10-8 in a Division II semifinal home game on Thursday evening. The victory puts the Huskies in the championship game against the Lincoln School on Sunday at 3:15 p.m. at Brown University's Stevenson Field.
Cimbron scored four goals for the Huskies. Two of her goals came in the second half when the Huskies were trading scores with South Kingstown's Caroline O'Hara. Midfielder Grace Moclair scored two goals and assisted on three others. Her physical play and determination kept the Huskies together down the stretch. Caroline Parker, Allie Reavis, Jillian Parker and Katherine Barker all scored for the Huskies. Goalkeeper Ellee Kopecky made 11 saves.
