Antone Nappi, 65, Bristol

Antone Nappi, 65, passed away at home on July 12, 2017. He was the husband of Ethel (Gustafson) Nappi; they were married for 30 years. Born in Fall River, Mass., he was the son of the late Nicholas W. Nappi Sr. and Mary (Paiva) Nappi.

Antone worked for his father’s company, Nappi Brothers Plumbing, for 40 years. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who had a love for cowboy movies and attending clambakes.

Besides his loving wife, he also leaves behind his children, Charles E. Gustafson and his wife Donna, Kyle Geldmaker and his wife Liz, and Austin Geldmaker; as well as one granddaughter, Daisy Geldmaker; four siblings, Marie Simard, John E. Nappi and his wife Evelyn, Jesse Nappi and his wife Elizabeth, and Cynthia Carvara; and two sister-in-laws, Dot and Janet Nappi. Antone was predeceased by two of his brothers, Nicholas W. Nappi, Jr. and Russell Nappi.

Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Monday, July 17, 2017 at 8:30 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood St, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut St, Bristol. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 16, 3-7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Antone’s name may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517, or Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island, 1085 N Main St., Providence, Rhode Island 02904.
