What do we know about “BloodRayne: Betrayal?” Not much, although we’re certain it will be better than the movie the franchise inspired in 2006. We know, of course, that “The blood-tastic hack-n-slash side-scroller is coming to both XBLA (August 31) and PSN (August 30) later this summer.” How do we know that? Because that’s what Jerry, the PR guy, told us.
BloodRayne: Betrayal will be a 2D side-scrolling action game, with the titular half-vampire warrior and a new ally working together to thwart the plans of a group of evil vampires.

I have fond memories of laying the first BloodRayne for the Xbox, sort of like I remember playing Blood Wake fondly – they were not great games, but early Xbox adopters had to play something after Halo. If this game plays as good as it looks I think it will be a good time.
