Timothy W. Corn, 54, formerly of Tiverton

Timothy W. Corn, also known as Clyde, Reb Corn, 54 , of Hendersonville, North Carolina, formerly of Tiverton, died on January 19, 2018, from injuries he sustained from a moped accident.

He was a hard worker and loving father and grandfather. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with family.

He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Leduc, her fiancé, Joseph McFadden; two grandchildren, Kaydence and Mason; former companion Deborah Leduc; two brothers, John Corn and the late Joel Corn; and his sister, Ellen Kelly. He was the son of the late Kenneth Corn, the nephew of Anne and the late William Corn, the cousin to Karen, and leaves many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

His service will be private at the family’s request.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
