Robert A. Neville, 60, Tiverton

Robert A. Neville, 60, of Tiverton, passed away at home on Sunday, October 7, 2018. He was the son of Franklyn B. Neville and his wife Jean of Tiverton and the late Jean (Grinnell) Neville.

Mr. Neville was born in Fall River, and had been a lifelong resident of Tiverton. He was a graduate of the Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown. There he learned to cane chairs which led him to open his own business, Bob's Antique Seat Weaving in Tiverton. He was an avid sports fan and loved listening to music. Mr. Neville was happiest when jamming on his drums with his brother Donnie especially when performing at local area pubs in their band "Blurred Vision."

Survivors, along with his father and step-mother, include his three brothers, Richard F. Neville, Donald G. Neville and Raymond E. Johnson, all of Tiverton; his sister, Lynda N. Ibbotson of Tiverton; a step-sister, Lesley Bridgen of England; a step-brother, Roger Bennett of England; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Steven D. Neville.

His funeral service, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be Friday, October 12, at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport, at 10 a.m.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-7 p.m. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Tiverton.

Flowers are acceptable or memorial donations may be made to the Perkins School for the Blind, Perkins Trust, 175 North Beacon St., Watertown, MA 02472.
