Lawrence M. Rocha II, 46, of Little Compton, passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2019, after a long battle with mental illness. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Lawrence M. Rocha and Barbara Rocha (Cavaca) of Little Compton.
He is survived by his two children, a daughter, Grace Camara, and a son, Johnathan Camara, both of Tiverton; and Shelly Camara, the mother of their beautiful children.
He has three sisters, Lisa Roies and her husband James of Tiverton, Mazelle Wood of Fall River, and Tammy Needham and her husband William of Little Compton. He has many nieces and nephews.
He formerly worked on a fishing boat out of Sakonnet Point in Little Compton and as a custodian for the Tiverton School Department.
He was loved very much by all of us and will be greatly missed.
Rest in Peace Larry, the battle is over.
A memorial service will be held on April 20, at 1 p.m. at the Acoaxet Chapel 36 Howland Road Westport. Please omit flowers
