WESTPORT — A fall adult tennis clinic is offered in Westport by the Dianne B. Snyder Memorial Tennis Complex Community Tennis Association.

The four clinic dates, presented by Coastal Quick Tennis, will take place on Thursday evenings, 6:30 to 8 p.m., from Sept. 20 to Oct. 11 at the DBSTC courts at the Westport Middle School. The rain date is Oct. 18.

”We are very pleased to bring back our fall adult tennis clinic,” said Lisa MacMaster, director of the DBSTC association. “They will be geared towards players looking to improve or tune up their games.”

The clinic cost is $75 and includes stroke instruction and analysis, singles and doubles strategy, as well as some match play.

The lead instructor will be Doug Chapman, a Professional Tennis Registry certified teaching professional and a past USTA national coaches trainer. Chapman has also been the tennis coach at Somerset Berkley for 34 seasons, and is the state’s all-time leader in career high school tennis coaching victories with 542 wins.

Additional information is available by calling Lisa MacMaster at 508-646-8111 or Pam Manchester at 508-636-3320. Online registration is available by emailing Vicki Rodrigues at vicki.rodrigues@gmail.com.
