WCOA offers cooking demonstrations

WESTPORT — In conjunction with the Westport Food Pantry, the Westport Council on Aging (WCOA) will be hosting a series of cooking demonstrations to introduce healthy meals prepared from basic foods found in most household cupboards and refrigerators.   These free demonstrations are open to all seniors and any Westport food pantry registrant.

Demonstrations will be held at the WCOA, 75 Reed Road, Westport, from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18 and 25, led by Johnson and Wales of Providence, and on November 1,

Louise Pollard, a chef at The Cedars Assisted Living Community in Dartmouth, will lead the demonstration.   No registration is necessary.
