Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust invites all to its traditional after-Thanksgiving guided walk through Destruction Brook Woods at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24.  The 280-acre reserve includes miles of walking trails, mature woodlands, unusual rock ledges covered with many interesting ferns and lichens, and Destruction Brook itself, once a major source of power for the mills of Russell’s Mills.  The walk will start from the Destruction Brook Woods parking lot on Slade’s Corner Road. Please bring water and dress appropriately for the day’s weather.  Usually only the worst weather will cancel a DNRT walk.  If the weather is questionable, call 508-525-9266 on the morning of the walk.
