Dr. Sara Butler of RWU will deliver a talk focusing on Charles Adam Platt’s 1902 design for a Country Place at North Farm as a trail-blazing effort of landscape preservation. Platt incorporated a portion of George Rogers Hall’s notable collection of nineteenth century trees and shrubs in his design, trees and shrubs which we are still enjoying today.
