‘Shop the World’ at the Sakonnet Point Club

C—Spotlight—ShopTheWorldNondyeboThe Sakonnet Point Club invites the public to “Shop the World” in support of health, education and job creation initiatives in Haiti and Africa. This event will feature products sourced from Haitian women’s cooperatives, including embroidered hand towels, cocktail napkins, pillow cases, pillows, and a baby line; as well as handicrafts made by Nondyebo Art, which employs women in the township of Masiphumelele, South Africa (right). Products include hand-painted table linens, pillow cases, napkins, and more.
