Innkeeper David Rubino will be welcoming visitors to Mount Hope Farm’s annual Farmfest Sunday afternoon. The free event celebrates the history and beauty of the farm and families can participate in a variety of fun, historic and educational activities. Take a guided tour of the historic 1745 Governor Bradford House, the 1800s Barn, Cove Cabin and other landmarks on the 127-acre property. The 2nd Rhode Island Regiment will provide live re-enactments of Continental Army life and The Bristol Train of Artillery will have an encampment. Younger visitors can participate in educational scavenger hunts, visit the goats and chickens, and then ride the hay wagon to the Cove Cabin. Bring a picnic or try a taste of offerings from local food trucks and vendors.
