The Westport Land Trust invites volunteers to help clear away summer growth along the trails on the 62-acre Let Conservation Area in south Westport (seen here looking west toward Rams Head Island on the East Branch of the Westport River. The cleanup will be Saturday, Sept. 15 from 9 to 11 a.m. Meet at 148 Fisherville Lane with sturdy shoes, your own loppers and water to drink. The hike will be led by Peggy Stevens.
