BRISTOL — Brazilian pianist and composer Luiz Simas will perform his original piece “Mata Atlântica,” inspired by the endangered coastal forest of Brazil, at Roger Williams University (RWU) Sunday night. The program will also include choros and other compositions in a variety of Brazilian styles. For the second half of the program, he’ll be joined by RWU professor Marilynn Mair on bandolim for a performance of her recently composed hybrid choros.
