Celebrate with a summer solstice stroll at the Audubon Society of Rhode Island’s Environmental Education Center at 1401 Hope St. on the Bristol/Warren town line tonight, June 21, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Celebrate by joining Audubon for a leisurely stroll at sunset down the boardwalk to Narragansett Bay. Before the walk, discuss crepuscular animals, those creatures that are active at dawn and dusk. All ages are welcome, but note the program is geared for ages 7 and up. The cost is $12 adults and $6 children ($10/$5 members).

And on Sunday, June 23, join the Audubon for a Low Tide Adventures from 1 to 2:30 p.m. How low does the tide go? Venture down to the shore to learn about the tides and the creatures you can discover at low tide. This is a special day for exploring the shore with the full moon and summer solstice close together. Bring water shoes and wear clothes that can get wet. The cost is $10 for an adult/child pair and $5 per extra child ($8/$4 members). Register online at www.asri.org.
