Artwork on display at Barrington library

Original watercolors of local and international landscapes by Joan Lusk, Carol Reiss and Heidi Smith will be on display at the Barrington Public Library through November. The three retired scientists began painting with Carolyn Simon at the East Side Art Center four years ago. The paintings will be in the first-floor hallway exhibit area and a reception to meet the artists will be held Tuesday, Nov. 13. Also on display this month in the glass case on the first floor of the library will be a sampling of Lisa Perry’s signature layering shells and limited-edition seasonal accessories made from reclaimed cashmere, mixed wools and other vintage elements.

WHERE: Barrington Public Library, 281 County Road, Barrington

WHEN: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday; exhibit runs through November
