Workshop and concert with Zili Misik in Portsmouth

C—Spotlight—ZiliMisikCommon Fence Music Presents “Songs of Freedom,” a free interactive workshop for kids and their families, with Zili Misik, a 10-piece all female band that performs New World Soul: dance and roots music of the African Diaspora. Participants will sing, clap, drum and dance to Haitian rhythms and songs, including Ibo, the dance of freedom. That evening, Common Fence Music presents the danceable new world soul of Zili Misik in concert.
