The Westport Fishermen’s Association is hosting a Marine Art Exhibit Sunday that celebrates the local bodies of waters, estuaries and landscapes that define Westport and its surrounding coastal communities.

The exhibit and holiday sale will feature local artists’ work in a wide variety of media that exemplifies some aspect of marine life, whether industry, landscape, environment, wildlife or recreational use of the Westport River, its tributaries and surrounding bodies of water.

The event is free and open to the public. This is a chance to, learn more about the local artist community, do some holiday shopping and enjoy light refreshments on the water’s edge while supporting  the efforts of the Westport Fishermen’s Association.
