Tennessee Williams’ “The Rose Tattoo” is the story of the spiritual and sexual salvation of a passionate Sicilian dressmaker who retreated from the world after her husband’s death, and who expected her daughter to do the same. Winner of the 1951 Tony Award for Best Play.
