C—Spotlight—SeaShantyThe New Bedford Harbor Sea Chantey Chorus was formed in 2000 as a civic chorus dedicated to performing a full nautical repertoire, including a wide variety of chanteys and songs that reflect the rich maritime heritage of New Bedford and the surrounding region. The 40-voice group also sings rich choral music. The spirited a cappella quartet known as Sync Or Swim was born in 2011 when a chance meeting around a piano at a holiday party ignited a spark that would not die. The fab four made their official debut at the 48th Annual Block Island Music Festival. A recipe of combined experience and expertise continues to entertain audiences with a repertoire that spans old vaudeville, to oldies, to disco and beyond.
