‘Noises Off!’ farce ends today at Portsmouth High

PORTSMOUTH — Today’s your last chance to catch Danny Rodrigues’ third summer production, “Noises Off!” by Michael Frayn at Portsmouth High School.

There will be shows at 2 and 7 p.m. today, Aug. 7, at the school auditorium, 120 Education Lane.

Called the “funniest farce ever written,” the comedy presents a manic menagerie as a cast of itinerant actors rehearse a flop called “Nothing On!”

Tickets at the door are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $6 for children under 12. The play is from the director who brought “May the Farce Be With You” and “Check Please: Takes 1 and 2” to town.
