Mt. Hope Farm in Bristol continues its “Fireside Lecture” series with an appearance by Edward Lodi, who will talk about his latest book, “Women in King Philip’s War.” Though often overlooked by historians, a number of remarkable women played major roles in King Philip’s War, making history-changing decisions, performing heroic deeds, enduring hardships, chronicling their experiences, lending support in innovative ways. Mr. Lodi will welcome questions during and after his talk, and a book signing will follow. Light refreshments are served during the lectures, which are presented in collaboration with the Bristol Historical Society.
