The first art event/fund-raiser for Coggeshall Farm, a living history museum in Bristol, will be held at The Coffee Depot in Warren and online at www.coggeshallfarm.org through Dec. 1. For more than 50 years, photographer Carl Keitner has brought a sharp eye and keen design sense to his work as a photographer and graphic designer. Inspired by Coggeshall Farm’s timeless beauty, he has documented the positive changes at the farm over the last several years. From his childhood in Budapest (his family fled Communist Hungary on foot to Austria) to his early career in Montreal and most recent period in Providence, Mr. Keitner’s passion is to create lasting images. The photos will be auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting the farm. Bids are being accepted during the exhibit and online (or e-mail auction@coggeshallfarm.org). The winning bids will be announced at the closing reception from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1.
