Broadway show tunes in Portsmouth Saturday

PORTSMOUTH — The Dr. Robert A. Davidson Charitable Fund presents “Broadway From Then ’Til Now 4” on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m. in the Portsmouth High School auditorium, Education Lane.

The concert of Broadway show tunes, old and new, will benefit the Portsmouth schools, Looking Upwards and other local causes. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children under 10. Get online tickets or make donations at BroadwayPortsmouth.eventbrite.com or call 683-2824.

The concert was organized by professional actor/musicians Laurie Davidson Spaner, daughter of Dr. Davidson, and her husband Craig Spaner of Portsmouth.

The group of 16 singers, three dancers and eight band members includes Kim Kekligian Stamoulis, Sara Moore, Abby Moore, Katie Spaner and Andreas Evangelatos of Portsmouth, Lily Ferreira and John Thomas Cunha of Middletown, Leslie Zeile of Newport, Bristol native Adam Cavalieri, several Boston area professionals, as well as Stage Door Dance students Alexis Alvanas, Brittany Croston and Jenna Roderiques, all from Portsmouth.

Special guest is Richard Price, high school band director.
