‘Arbitrage’ screened in Bristol

ArbitrageSusan Sarandon and Richard Gere star in “Arbitrage,” a 2012 drama directed by Nicholas Jarecki that will be screened next week as part of Rogers Free Library’s “Wednesday Night at the Movies” series hosted by Peter Weldy. Gere plays 60-year-old billionaire Robert Miller, who manages a hedge fund with his daughter and is preparing to sell it for a huge profit. However, he’s secretly cooking the company’s books, and later tries to cover up another serious misdeed. Upcoming movies in the series include “To Rome With Love” (Feb. 13), “Trouble with the Curve” (Feb. 20) and “Argo” (March 6).
