Albert Brown of Portsmouth, a veteran of World War II, receives his "Greatest Generation" medal from Thomas Barandiaran, 17, of the Boy Scouts.

PORTSMOUTH — Arthur C. Lenaghan, an Army chaplain from the Fall River Diocese who served in World War II, didn’t die in vain.
