Anti-toll crowd confronts bridge authority in Portsmouth

STOP plans anti-toll fundraiser Friday

PORTSMOUTH — A group dedicated to stopping tolls on the new Sakonnet River Bridge will hold a fundraiser this Friday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. at the Sakonnet Sportsmans Club, 145 Sakonnet Drive, Portsmouth. STOP (Sakonnet Toll Opposition Platform) invites all to meet their senators and representatives and to enjoy music, beverages and a raffle.
