Proud East Providence beacon shines again

The Pomham Rocks Lighthouse sits on the east side of the Providence River, about 800 feet off the shoreline in Riverside. The solar panels (far left), which were installed in March, power the light. The storage shed was formerly used to hold whale oil or kerosene to heat the 1871 house.
